I am a huge Red Sox fan, and I remember sitting at Camden Yard in Baltimore watching the Red Sox play the Orioles. It must have been around 1998 or 1999. Teddy was sitting in one of the field boxes and got up to leave the game. As he made his way up the steps there was a thunderous round of boos directed at him, because he was such a huge Sox fan. I'll never forget the smile and the wave he gave the crowd. What a good sport he was. Most people would have skulked away. Maybe it was because he was so competitive, but he really did understand people. I am so happy he got to see the Sox win the World Series twice in his lifetime. He will be dearly missed by my family. Rest in Peace Teddy.
