Senator Ted Kennedy's death is a terrible loss for the progressive movement and our country. For decades, he fought for a more just America, winning major victories and surviving great setbacks. He was an inspiration to MoveOn's 5,000,000 members who take strength from his perseverance even in the face of great odds. In his honor, we'll redouble our efforts to win what Senator Kennedy called 'the cause of his life'--health care for all. And, today and every day moving forward, we'll draw fortitude from his words and deeds. Our prayers are with his family and friends at this time of mourning.
